Methodology is composed by three phases, “Planning”, “Execution” and “Maintenance”, as showed in the figure below:
In the Planning phase we need to understand the product, the current supply chain and the customer profile in order to analyze the supply chain alternatives in a Brazilian Industrial Policy perspective. The best alternatives will be offered in an Excel spreadsheet way to allow sensitive analysis and to facilitate the decision make process. The assessment to local contract manufacturer and local suppliers can be done in this phase if required. The output of this phase is a Business Plan proposal, describing the supply chain alternatives and an Action Plan for the next phase.
In the Execution phase we will support the customer to implement the Action Plan acting as part of your company or local partner to provide the best learning process and assure a successful implementation. The main activities is usually performed in this phase are:
In the Maintenance phase we keep the client update with legislation changes and trends, analyzing impacts in the supply chain and defining actions to keep or maximize the benefits. All application process required to Brazilian Government to include new models and products will be performed by Varuna in the same way we did in the Execution phase to assure benefits for all products and legislation compliance.
